Interviews to Medical School
Does anyone know if all medical schools in the UK require interview before selection for medicine or do some make selections based on grades only?
Which ones do not, if any?

Re: Interviews to Medical School
I know there are because a friend's son has applied to five and picked one that specifically did not interview. I have a feeling it's Southampton but I may have got that totally wrong.

In the past Southampton did not interview and perhaps Dundee. Just check the prospectus/online of the schools you are interested in.....

A friend's DS is now at Southampton (first year) and was interviewed............ This may be because of his expected grades though (He didn't reach their required levels but still got in).

Think the GMC now require all medical students to be interviewed.

Thank goodness - otherwise there would be even more nutters in the profession than currently! Oh, that depends on the interview panel I suppose, so it might not work out better!!
