Distance from Bexley schools
Hi We live in part of Thamesmead which is in borough of Greenwich.
However we are 3.04 miles from Bexley Grammar and 4.3 miles from beths Grammar (as the crow flies) - are we still in the catchment area?

Re: Distance from Bexley schools
As you pay your council tax to the London Borough of Greenwich, you will be regarded as out of county for both Kent and Bexley test although you can still apply for a place. Depending on results you stand a chance of getting a place as a lot of children in the Bexley grammar schools come from out of the borough.

Hi Shahinoor
Have you looked at the Bexley Council website. On page 21 of the "Admission to Secondary Schools in Bexley" document it give the distance from school of offered places, for the last five years. The distance will be measured by public highway route (not as the crow flies).
Bexley will not discriminate against you for being an OOB applicant.
