Post by flicka »

Hi, has anyone's DS done the Eton Test in the last few years?
If so, what was it like please.

DS did it 1.5 years ago. It is computerised and cannot be prepared for, followed by an interview. I am led to believe they take the top 30 boys who got the highest marks, out of 800 or so, and then they base their decision on extra curricular pursuits so the boy being placed 800th could still get in (250 accepted) although this is unlikely. I know of a boy who is quite weak academically but has got in and his only talent is sport so he may have got a high IQ score on the test. The prep report is very important.
