Sunday Times Schools Guide and Comprehensive League Tables

Post by nigs »

I have just signed up to the Sunday Times Online (Parent Power) for 1 pound only (for a period of 30 days. Before this ends, remember to email them and cancel your subscription if you do not want to carry it on) to view their Schools Guide (both Primary and Secondary - State and Independent).

I have found it very useful and unlike any other league tables in terms of their rankings over a period of about 5 years. For instance, GCSE and A level results can be sorted by the number of A* grades, A grades, A-B grades. Nothing like the usual 'how many passes between A*-C grades'. You can sort as well by area to see rankings.

Not sure how long this offer will run for so get in there quick if you are interested.

Thanks no-ball. Didn't realise Daily Mail had a list as well.

For some reason, I can't see my school on the list and can't seem to search by area for schools in my county. Also for rankings over the last 5 years.

The league tables complied by the FT are the most rigorous because they prioritize subjects which tend to make the universities' approved lists . They are published today
