Levels expected by the end of Yr 7

I know this question may have been done before.
Could you please point out the correspondent link or give us some thoughs please?

I know its been discussed too - i do know that level 5 at primary key stage 2 is not the same as level 5 key stage 3 - my dd1 had level 5 in year 6 and at the end of year seven was still level 5 - it wasnt a problem - some work was marked as level 6 but the assesments they did were marked at level 5- at the end of year 8 she was however acheiving level 6's and some level 7's. She did well at her GCSE's all taken a year early.
