Post by bromley mum »

I can't believe it's that time of the year again! :( It seems only yesterday I filled out my last one!! I haven't had my P60 yet so am all right at the moment, just filing it away. Anyone else get their's today?

Done, dusted and posted. <smug>

Noticed I had an NI category of C (above state pension age), checked and they have been using it since 2006, after two hours web searching decided I was an A as per P60's for the last many years.

I know it is a pain but go on fill it and file it. :)

We run an in-house weekly payroll so we run the last two weeks early and produce the P60s, mind you the govt. gateway wouldn't accept the year end data early. :)

i am working up to it!

have tried 6 times today to phone HMRC ( 4 yesterday, twice day before) to tell them I have ceased trading.

For forst time in about 6 years I will have to pay tax because of school work, so trying hard to get all my receipts, expenses together as it will matter this year. Looking forward to not having to do them any more after next year. PAYE is brill!

I got a huge tax bill which I knew couldn't be correct. As I have a job as well as being self employed, the tax man said he's written to my place of work and given me a new code so that my tax could come out of my wages. If that were to happen I would have to work for free this year! I rang Inland Revenue (my phone bill will be huge as had to wait for ages!) and the lady said she could see what had gone wrong. They had not given me any personal allowance!!
