Hello Bullnata
I am sorry my reply is not related to your travel arrangements. Would you mind telling me the waiting list rank of your daughter and her score if it is not too much to ask especially if you are in the fallowfield/didsbury area please. I dont mind if you can pm me. Just trying to see how far they have taken kids from and how much score we need to get. I understand that the score situation may vary every year.
Please feel free to say no. Just thought the info might be helpful.
Kind regards,
Jash

Re: Travel to AGGS
There is a school bus run by GMPTE that goes from the Parrswood complex at 7.25 am. My daughter and her friends get this, it's also used by lads from AGSB - might be useful if you just want to drive to East Didsbury and drop off rather than go all the way to Altrincham.

Hi Bullnata
Sorry didn't see this message before I asked where you lived. My son gets this bus too. We live in the Heatons, I drop my son off on Didsbury Road and he walks up but has even got a bus from our house to the school bus. At first I watched him get on the bus everyday... but now he goes off happily on his own. He has got the 370 back on his own if he stays for activities. They soon becaome vv independent.
Is she gets the bus you'll need an i go pass and mighe be cheaper to buy a weekly pass at £9.50.As you may know children now pay half fare and its 1.40 each way for that journey as opposed to the old 80p.
There are a couple of alternatives if she misses the bus, the loreto bus goes the same way.
might see you next year then

Thank u everyone. The information u gave me was useful. As far as the marks go. It is only pass or fail. Beyond that the admissions depend on the distance from the school. We did not get a waiting list letter. The only letter we got told us that we were offered a place. So though we did not get the letter in the first instance we were never sure where we were on the waiting list.
