Consistently inconsistent

Post by Turtlegirl »

Anyone else have a child like this? My daughter has just done a KS3 mental maths test (given to us by her tutor) with me. She got 26/30 - sounds pretty good, eh? But she did the same test yesterday and got 27/30. And all the questions she got wrong today were right yesterday.

Any tips on helping consistency? It's not that she doesn't know how to do it. Aargh!

My son's english is his strongest subject, he always gets over 90, even in the Indie papers. But today in NEFER paper he got 70%!!! :? Please give me tips on consistency too. :)
Having one child makes you a parent; having two you are a referee.

Time to give it a break for a while? Might they be getting bored?
