Post by Fran17 »

I don't know about you but I am all out of ideas. Has anyone got any good suggestions as I am struggling this year.

I've bought mine books, lounge wear and whisky . It's the same every year apart from the disastrous year I branched out and gave him a caricature of himself. With the dog. It didn't go down well.

I was very unpopular the year I bought mine a workmate. Mind you it was 20 years ago and I think he has nearly forgiven me. I think I might buy mine a Kindle. He loves to read and travels a lot. Usually it's clothes, music, books.

A workmate ? Is that a DIY tool or did he need a friend for work ?

Haha. Maybe I should have used a capital letter. One year we didn't buy presents but agreed to have a day out in London together (like in the other thread). It took us until October to get round to it

Last year I bought prescription swimming goggles for DH. He can't see much without his glasses so with these, he can see along the beach on the way to swim and can see underwater too. Also obv useful at local pool. They cost £40 at local optician - not exact prescription (they were about £70) but close to it with account taken of refraction in water. He is really pleased with them and ideal for the short sighted swimmer in your life. :D

Jewelry or a coupon that entails no housework for the day?
