Just a quick question for mods really...

Post by succeed »

Could anyone tell me if there is a 'magic button' to press/click on, to send pm's? (apart from submit of course!) Can't seem to shift mine from the out box.

Thanks

It just means the person hasn't opened the pm and you just have to sit tight until they open it (they may never open it and I just delete the pm I send after a while)
Once the recipient has opened your email, it will move to send items.

Thanks sherry_d . I must admit, that possibility did occur to me but I couldn't resist asking - my lack of 'self discipline' shining through . Now I feel a bit silly.... Thanks though.

yup, sherry d is right, until the intended recipient picks them up they sit in your outbox.

Have just deleted 2 which had mouldered there for 2 years (note to members , if you ask for links/info please be bothered to look at your pm's)

Sorry for hijacking this thread but something has just happened to my computer and I can't find 'New Post' anymore.

My screen is showing most of the headings but no details. Plus the blue sections have disappeared. Anyone else having the same problem?

Panic over. Restarted the computer and it's back to normal.

Wish I could blame the booze. I am a woman of "mean understanding". Just call me Mrs Bennet. :D

Hi Moderator(s)

Could this 'feature' be added to FAQs please - ie the fact that a message stays in your Outbox until it is 'read' by the Recipient.

I can't think of an equivalent to this very non-intuitive system in any messaging system that I've ever come across, and as such think it would be worth flagging up as a FAQ.
