If the 11+ date in Essex has changed...
...when will all of the open evenings be?
The letter we had home from DS's school (in Southend) regarding the change of dates seems to suggest that the results will be out a month after the children take the eleven plus (ie October). The Open evenings are usually throughout September, but presumably most people who are busy preparing their children for the 11+ won't want to spend lots of evenings out visiting schools in September. Does anyone know when the open evenings will be and when we fill the forms in for secondary places now?

In Kent and Bexley the results come out mid-October and the week of Open Evenings/Days for the selective schools starts the following day! The Open Days for non-selectives are held after the exam date but before the results are published. Maybe Essex will do something similar.
