Stahs Group Interview

Post by shreeya »

My daughter has been invited to a group interview, the letter just says she will have to do some writing. Does anyone have any info on what this is likely to involve?

My DD sat the SAHS exam 2 years ago, and the group 'interview' was really more of a lesson where they were given a task to plan (in pairs I think), execute and then write-up. I can't remember whether they actually handed anything in to be marked. There was no actual interview as such, but I guess some discussion with the teacher, but none of the 'tell me about your favourite book' type of questions. My DD came out with a big smile and had had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I guess they are looking for co-operation and team work and general confidence as much as anything. Good luck!

Mine attended in 2011 and that was a science lesson. DD found it quite fun. I'm guessing that the school just wants to see if there are any behavioural problems. I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck.
