Cheltenham Ladies College Entrance Exams

Post by ohmygosh123 »

I am trying to find out more for a friend's daughter who is applying to board in the UK and is coming from overseas and so hasn't been taught according to the UK curriculum / style and english is not her first language. She has been told past papers are not made available to any students, so she has no idea what to expect.

All she knows is that she has to sit papers in english, maths, verbal reasoning and science, and in theory they are at KS2 average level. But can that be right for what is a very academic selective school? Any advice would be very welcome.

thanks!

Sorry just spotted your post. I suspect the school set the VR exam and usually invite applicants for a session where they are interviewed, take part in lessons etc. The maths, eng, science are then sat via the 11 plus common entrance exam, see ISEB website.
