Facebook, Google + and Twitter Buttons

Post by programmer »

I added Facebook, Google+ and Tweet buttons on the top right of the forum pages. But this is for sharing the website itself than an individual topic. I am wondering if we need sharable links per topic?

Thanks.

I have no real idea what you are asking. I don't 'do' any of those social networking thingies. Does this mean that our comments would be likely to reach a much wider audience? If so, I would have trouble with that and would probably stop posting as I reckon some of my pupils might suss me. Take that as you will - perhaps you will see that as a plus point. :D

Amber, at the moment it won't tell anyone about your comments. I suppose I can leave it at that. Thanks.

What a good idea - I guess it's important to be visible on the WWW.

There are some interesting news articles now appearing on my Facebook from 11+ but no I am not getting the individual posts to Facebook.

I am sure that I will probably be in the minority so please don't do that on my account. I am in the Dark Ages over social networking and prefer to stay there.

No, I wouldn't feel comfortable either. What are the benefits and disadvantages?

I think I would prefer it to be more general, programmer.

I think its a good idea to share the general site, the more people that know about this site the better :D
