Educational documentaries?

Post by Waiting_For_Godot »

Aren't they all educational?

I need to get documentaries to compliment the National Curriculum or similar. So for example, if cells are being studied I need to find a programme about cells but at a level an 11-16 year old could understand. Are there any companies that make programmes to match a school syllabus in nearly all subjects?

A friend of mine who was a teacher home educates her son and gets a lot of support from the local education authority who supply teaching material - that might be worth a try.

Have you looked at Kahn academy? Thousands of online lessons are posted there.
