How to register for +12

Hi,
My friends daughter did not qualify for bucks grammar schools this year, thus will be going to local school in Yr7(Sept 2012).
Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how or what we need to do in order to register for +12 for entry into YR8(Sept2013).

Information is usually available next term - a link is normally published. Here is the current 12+ timeline:

However with more GS 'doing their own thing' they may need to keep an eye on the school website.
