what score to expect?

Post by wellprepared »

Hello,
DD sitting at the end of sept 2012.
What score to expect at this time in April to make sure she is on a promising level.
Thanks

Presumably it will depend where you re in the country and what tests your DC is taking. If you pst in the relevant area below, someone should e able to help.

I agree - the answer to the question is very different depending on whether you are going for selective or super-selective, and whether you are in an 11+ county

Ah - OK. So is my DD.

In some counties 60-70% may get you a GS place but its more like 90+% for a super selective place.

Kendrick would count as super-selective.

I can't help with where you should be atm as I only have 1 DD so its all new to me. I feel we should be further on that we are but life conspires against us. We have done 3 of the 4 Susan D VR technique books, some IPS VR ones and a couple of 30 min IPS VR tests. We have also done some NVR prep which is more vague and some 10 min tests from Bond.

If your child is doing papers relative to where she is at in her steady ascent to being ready to pass the test then she should be scoring whatever their pass mark is. Super selective - 85+
(Did that make sense?)
