Finished!

Post by faitaccompli »

Probably not really for this part of the forum, but this is where I am most of the time!

Today (roll of drums) I sold my house in Bedfordshire! This may not seem like a big deal, but my DS and I have been living in rented accommodation in Marlow since 10th March (in order to ensure eligibility for SWB) whilst paying the mortgage in Bedfordshire, due to a VERY slow chain that SHOULD have completed middle of March!

So today I am only paying for one house rather than two - no need to sell any more possessions on ebay to pay for both houses. Things have all fallen into place - put house up for sale and sold it, rented apartment, found out what VR was, took 11+, got into SWB - all within 6 months. Now. What shall we do next ...

Congratulations, faitaccompli!

Do you fancy taking on the recession, the hosepipe ban and the Olympic tickets fiasco now? I'm sure you could juggle all three with consummate ease and sort them out in a jiffy. :D

Thanks everyone!

Olympic tickets - don't get me started ... because I stupidly bought some football ones in the first ballot to ensure I at least got something, I am now relegated to the back of the queue for the decent tickets. Grrrrrr!!!

we have olympic tickets but they are smack bang in the middle of our 11+ plans!! can't believe we are thinking like this :(

But hats off and congrats to those that have completed and been successful in their 11+ journey :)
