I believe Tutors are harder so that probably wouldn't help with her confidence. Are you just doing papers or have you gone through the 'how to' stuff first?

We have done how to n she understands all the concepts. But still makes few silly mistakes here and there.
So what do you think should be our next step?

Hello pkpk,

Have you tried helping your DC yourself? Sometimes parents assistance is all the child require.
I suggest you go through the techniques book yourself, understand the types and explain it to your child and then go through few of the questions together.
Regular practice will do the job. Try to get papers from different authors and go through them.
I hope this helps.

is that 42-45% or 42-45 out of 50(?)

I initially read it as percent but now think that might be wrong so my advice would be different

I'd follow Patricia's DIY plan. Its on a sticky in Bucks section I think - not doing Bucks myself
