Where's the reading suggestions for adults thread?

Post by DenDe »

I seem to remember a while back that there was a thread with reading recommendations for adults rather than our children. As I'm looking for summer reading suggestions I've tried to find it, but I don't seem to be very good with the search facility here  Can anyone find it for me or, indeed, recommend any good books for the summer please? (50 Shades of Grey is already on my list :D )

And this one?

There's also one from about this timer last year when I was looking for a book club book. I'll see if I can find it this evening.

Edited to add: it was the same thread - I didn't start it, just hijacked it

Bounce by Matthew Syed. Blows the talent myth sky high and puts all the focus on opportunities and hard work. Very timely as we watch all those chinese athletes. DG
