KS3 workbooks and Study Books

Post by Babiloo »

My DD started Year 7 at Nonsuch, she is my first child at secondary school hence I am clueless where to begin.

So I was wondering if anyone can provide me with some guidance.....

Can someone please recommend some KS3 workbooks and Study books that my DD can use on a daily basis?

Thank you in anticipation.

agree with Belinda - year 7's starting at GS will have plenty of work to do - I think the only time to get out the extra books is for GCSE revision

Totally agree. Don't buy anything now but some good fiction (or use the library for that too).

Later on if you are looking for study books for GCSE it is useful to try and get ones that match the exam board for your DDs exams. I stumbled across a very useful RS book that has been very helpful for DD taking the AQA short course. It helped because it specifically covered exactly what she was supposed to know.

Thank you all for your very useful advice. It's been a week since the school started And I am a lot more clearer on things.

I am not panicking anymore :D
