August born child
Hello, I'm new to this forum and my DS has just started in year 5. I read something on another thread about the results being adjusted according to the month of birth. This interests me as my DS was born on August 31st. Can anyone explain this further? How does the adjustment work?

Re: August born child
Thank you both! It's good to know that age is taken into account and he won't be at a disadvantage because of his birthday.

Hmmm, no age standardisation in Essex! Whereabouts are you?
Re: August born child
I'm in Gloucestershire. Does it not happen everywhere then? How do I know whether they do it in Glos?

Re: August born child
It depends on which area you are in. In Essex there is no age standardisation. Best check the threads for your county.
Re: August born child
Thanks. I haven't found anything on the Glos threads so I've posted a thread asking about it. Hopefully I'll get an answer.
