Good Luck For Today!!
Good Luck to all those 11+ sitters at Kendrick and Reading School!!
I hope all that prep will win the day!!
Just a polite reminder, not to share any information on todays tests until after 11th January 2013, when
the late application sitters have sat their tests too. Thank you in advance.

Dropped off, DD was very keen, skippy and happy.
As I walked back across town I felt deflated and fluey.
Next up the pick up, the debrief and the managing of expectations.
Hope all the DCs have a positive experience and come out happy, they all deserve to be praised and rewarded for giving it a go.

Sounds very like me Steve - DD absolutely fine but I have the lurgy.
Re: Good Luck For Today!!
I think once I relaxed my immune system got overwhelmed by all those bugs that had been waiting patiently to attack.Reading Mum wrote:Sounds very like me Steve - DD absolutely fine but I have the lurgy.
I'll take the bugs if it gives DD a clean run.
Feel we are 95% prepared but pushing more would have been counter productive. I tried to explain a "new" technique last week and DD said, no thanks I'll do it my way.
We didn't get around to revisiting nets of cubes but as they don't come up at Kendrick ..........

Thanks, I'm still waiting for that happy feeling, might come at the weekend when we don't have to do any extra work.Torrylee wrote:Excellent news! Enjoy that 'it's all over' feeling.stevew61 wrote:We are out and happy, @pub, nice omlette.
Had a good debrief with DD, she had a couple of panics but recovered.
Just to show how nice and inclusive we are in Reading a special good luck to the girl in DD's room who had traveled from Glasgow for the exam. A three day round trip.
Re: Good Luck For Today!!
DS2 said it went ok, maths he found hardest (but it was his weakest subject), reasoning "had some questions you hadn't taught me" and English was ok. I was just relieved that he got through all of the papers and had some time to check (though doubt very much that much checking really went on...). Will try the debrief in a few days time, he doesn't look up to much right now.

Agree, enjoy the feeling that it's done and dusted.
Leave worrying about the results until nearer the time.
Relax and treat your wonderful kids for putting up with it all!
What will you do with your weekend, Steve?
