I've received a letter today inviting us to sit the Medway test on 16th October - I was a late applicant from Maidstone so don't discuss content please even after your results come out.

I think they will have to have another English paper (the third, as there was a different one for the Saturday sitting to the mid-week sitting).

update -daughter has just sat test today. she seems pretty positive about it.

but previous experience has shown that her judgment doesn't match reality - bless her. she didn't prepare specifically for it after doing the Kent test and I suspect her VR speed has slowed down. she is a natural whizz at and is interested in English so I thought the test would match her strengths and obviously maybe give us a few more options.

back from holiday and have had a wonderful letter in the post saying DD passed Medway too!

I 'm really impressed by Medway sending out result as quickly as they did (which is what they said they'd try and do) so it was in time for the CAF cut-off date.
