A quick OOC question
Hi all,
To which schools in Bucks can a child from OOC apply?
To which schools in Bucks can a child from OOC apply?
Re: A quick OOC question
In theory you can apply to any Bucks GS, except DCGS as you need to be in catchment already! However distance from the school is part of the allocation of places so some will not be sensible to apply to.
Look for 'all offered' on the allocation profiles. If you give us a clue as to roughly where you live we can help further.

Re: A quick OOC question
Have read the Ofsted Reports for both Chesham GS and Sir Henry Floyd.
Really surprised to read the ratings, getting 2 on many parameters.
Is the standard just average inspite of being a GS?
Any views from parents with children in these schools would be welcome.

The "standard" of what?Daddy123 wrote:Have read the Ofsted Reports for both Chesham GS and Sir Henry Floyd.

Re: A quick OOC question
Inspection Grades - 1 for OUTSTANDING, 2 for GOOD etc.
Re: A quick OOC question
I think the way they judge things has changed, so "outstanding" is harder to get now. I don't think you would go far wrong with either of these schools.
scary mum

I don't know if this is an answer to my question but if it is then:Daddy123 wrote:Inspection Grades - 1 for OUTSTANDING, 2 for GOOD etc.
1) Good is good not average
2) The standard of what exactly is worrying you? schools are graded on all sorts of aspects/parameters (as you mention)
