How many copies of new documents for appeal board
Am attending an appeal for oversubscription of an Oxfordshire school tomorrow. We wish to take a new document detailing very recent family illness circumstances that it has not been possible to submit before. How many copies do you think we should take with us. It is impossible to get through to the clerk at the moment (perhaps due to the floods).
Hope someone out there can help - or guess

I think it depends on the length of the new document. One copy of a short letter would not be much of a problem.
If it's a lengthy document, then a panel would be wise to adjourn for as long as is necessary to give everyone (including the representative of the admission authority) time to digest the new information. It would not be advisable for the panel to be seen to rush through the evidence, or alternatively to be seen to be studying it while the hearing continues.
Ideally, as Guest55 suggests, it's best to come prepared with six copies.
