DW/DH Unusual Christmas Present Ideas

Post by StJamesDad »

I thought it might be good to share ideas on what we can get our partners for Christmas.
I was thinking more of things that do not spring straight to mind, so not slippers or iphones etc.
Only for those of us who are happy with the materialistic side of Christmas though please. i.e. 'wrap-up-able' things.

I quite fancy a cherry stoner. I love cherries but they are more trouble than they are worth IMO.
I saw a device on youknowtube that can de-stone them rapidly and is dishwasher friendly.

Cheap stocking fillers: decent nut crackers - I keep breaking the cheap type and a magnetic shopping list for the fridge.

My husband has an obsession with swatting flies-so an electric fly swatted, which a better bet than last years mankini. As my 17 year old said afterwards, traumatised by the early morning Christmas breakfast vision of her father in mankini

Oh yes. A retinal present. Eyes.

A friend of mine was saying you can get things (not sure exactly what) to keep, say, by your bed, to hang your glasses on?!

A romantic present indeed. In my case, might remind me of the many birthdays I've had.

Perhaps the real man; Piers Brosnan.

Not sure a cherry de-stoner has quite the same appeal! Makes me laugh though!

A magazine subscription always goes down well in this household. One year I leased/rented DH a row of vines in a french vineyard, involved a little trip there later in the year and a lot of wine.........
