Girls' school tests so different from the boys' tests
Isn't it funny that the girls' grammar school tests are so different from the boys.
I have just been through the process of preparing my son for SGS, Wilson's and WCG.
I have twin girls in year 4 and we are thinking about them trying for the local grammars.
I looked at the Nonsuch web site and saw that their tests comprise verbal, non-verbal and comprehension, but no essay or maths paper. It seems to be a completely different ball game.
I had previously thought that one of my daughters had no chance of getting in a grammar, because her spelling is appalling. However, her comprehension skills seem to be good and she came top of the class the other day in a comprehension test, so I am thinking maybe we are in with a chance. Haven't tried them on the VR and NVR yet.

Don't discount anyone from anything due to spelling at that age! Some of us found spelling/reading a real challenge in early life!because her spelling is appalling.
