A Little Help Please....

Hi, Ive just registered for the forum as my child has recently failed their 11+ exam. My child Head teacher has appealed against it but that has also failed.

I`m just wondering what my options are now, as my child has their heart set on going to a grammar school.

are you still able to appeal to a panel yourself?

What sort of scores did your DC get?

Thank you for your reply. Yes it was Headteachers review. Yes weve been told we can appeal. Scores were as follows :

Outcome of Grammar Selection Tests

Standard score test 1 : 123

Standard score test 2 : 112

Total score 235

Required Grammar school standard : 236

Referral to Independent Assessment Board : Yes

Outcome of Independent Assessment Board : Not Grammar

Note that referral to the Independent Assessment Board is at the discretion of the primary school headteacher.
