Bullers Wood

Post by ruthhyy12 »

Hello. As my daughter fell behind the cut off mark for her 11+, i put Bullers Wood on CAF.
I want to know how likely she is to get in if she lives in the Downham area?
Comments please.

The booklet with the information about secondary school applications included the catchment distances for the past 3 years, I think this may help. Alternatively, you could phone Bromley Council and ask, they are very helpful.

Its a nightmare having to wait until March 1st isnt it?

Hi,

Last year's cut off was 1.67 miles, the year before it was 1.8 miles and the year before that 1.9 miles. If you ring Bromley admissions and give them your postcode, they can give you an exact distance between your house and the school.

My daughter is in Year 8 at Bullers, and so far, we have been really pleased with the school. I know that one girl who is in her class lives in Downham. Hope this helps.

Good luck for March.

Hi rythhyy12,

Just wanted to know how you got on regarding schools? Did your DD get into Bullers or did you choose an alternative school in the end?
