It is still a bit early to tell. If there are to be changes from the current admission then this will be consulted on in the next few months. You need to keep a close eye on the LEA and any school which you are interested in.

I'll start you off with the LEA http://www2.redbridge.gov.uk/cms/childr ... sions.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All arrangements must be finalised and published by April.

Hi - just wanted some clarification, must the council identify any changes to the Redbridge exam format by April 2013 - for the 2014 11+ exam OR 2014 secondary school entrance? - I'm thinking the latter is more likely
TIA

They are consulting now for entry in September 2014. So any change to the next set of exams (sat in 2013) must be consulted on and then published by April this year.

Admissions Code wrote:Admission authorities must set (‘determine’) admission arrangements annually. Where changes are proposed to admission arrangements, the admission authority must first publicly consult on those arrangements7. If no changes are made to admission arrangements, they must be consulted on at least every 7 years. Consultation must be for a minimum of 8 weeks and must take place between 1 November and 1 March of the year before those arrangements are to apply. For example: for arrangements which are to apply to applications in 2012 (entry in September 2013), consultation must be completed by 1 March 2012. This consultation period allows parents, other schools, religious authorities and the local community to raise any concerns about proposed admission arrangements.

I think you'll have to wait for April for the determined admissions.
