GCSE PE

Hi, my DD tells me GCSE PE is equivalent to taking 2 subjects, does anyone know whether that's true? and do six forms/uni's see it that way?

Also, any experience of GCSE photography?

we were told it is one gcse if full PE is taken..

It depends which version they do - it can be short course (1/2), full (1) or double (2). Have a look here for example (this may differ depending upon which exam board your school use).

DD discussed the single/double award system with her teacher, it seems she's correct!
She'll be put forward for the double award. Too late to change her mind now......the options form went in yesterday!
