And by quite some margin I hear - 20+ places was the last rumour ...

Please can any other parents post here if they know the final figures for Bucks Grammars for Year 7? Or if anyone has the definitive figures, as published by Bucks?

The figures may change during the year, but vacancies do give prospective 12+ parents something to live for!

Don't have any definitive figures yet, but all the following are likely to have one or more spaces (on the basis of the allocation profiles published at the back of the latest Secondary Guidance document):

- Aylesbury Grammar
- Aylesbury High
- Sir Henry Floyd
- Burnham Grammar
- Chesham High
- Wycombe High

[Note that these allocation profiles show the state of play in July when the document went to print.]

Following a successful 12+ we recently had selection appeals for both AGS (unsuccessful) and Henry Floyd (successful). The Authorities documents served on us contained the 'expected number of pupils on roll for September 2007'. AGS indicated 180 starting in year 7 which is the admission number. However Henry Floyd indicated only 120 starting in year 7 against an admission number of 150. Hope this helps.

how is the chance to get into AHS if I am living in RLG catchment which does not cover AHS?

Anybody know the chance of getting into AHS if I live in Leighton Buzzard?
where can I get the route of council provided school coach? Thanks!

(It is such a difficult compromise between schooling and house! As a result, we have been struggling for very long on buying house)

Have you looked at the allocation profile for this year?
