Irrelevant this year as the test has changed.

This years 12+ was the old format. 85 VR questions in 45 minutes.

It depends which school the test was taken at. Four of the schools used the previous test and nine did not.

There have never, to my knowledge, been any FoI requests made for the raw scores for the GL-style 12+ test.

What a strange anomaly the test is this year with the four schools sticking to the old style GL Assessment test. This was pretty heavily criticised as being outdated and not keeping up with the latest thoughts on educational assessment and ability at our HT presentation evening. Presumably the grammar schools concerned also must be thinking that otherwise they wouldn't be changing. But I suppose some cross-over period is needed.

Some of the schools may not have felt that they currently have the resources to set their own test. One more has gone over to curriculum-based testing for the coming year, according to a post on here. I haven't had time yet to work out which one it is.
