Relative Address to gain Catchment place
Hi All We are not residing in the catchment area of Reading School though my sister lives in Reading. Can I put her address on the application form?
Re: Relative Address to gain Catchment place
No in short.
Re: Relative Address to gain Catchment place
No! You could also lose the place if they found out. You have to give evidence of residency.

See page 6 I think, this has rules of residency. Giving an address that is not your child's place of residence is fraudulent. If you are found out you will have your place withdrawn. RBC and reading schools are quite strict on this. Even moving in then later moving out draws suspicion.

....and you run the risk of being charged with fraud......I understand that the councils are using address verification systems and third party data to conduct this type of review so for anyone who has done this for this year, there is a fair chance of the knock on the door!mum-of-three wrote:Thanks all for the clarification and the link.
