I live in Watford and my DS didn't get Watford Grammar. Score was 232. What are my chances of a grammar in Bucks?

Take a look at the 2013 allocation summary which is posted on this site. Any school which is "All offered" may have spaces for year 8 entry in 2014 although there will be further spaces filled for the 2013 entry.

You won't get a grammar in Bucks on the Watford score, your child would have to take the Bucks (or individual school's) 12 plus next year.

Thanks for the info. What chances do I have next year considering that I don't live in Bucks?

No-one can tell you I'm afraid. Why? Because Your DS will have to take the 12+ for your chosen school(s). We don't know if your DS will qualify assuming he is permitted to sit the test. As far as vacancies are concerned, my earlier advice stands. The good news is that Chesham GS appears to have vacancies although that may change.

I'm afraid no one can distil all the possibilities into a percentage for you.
