Anyone else have a child with SEN taking hte 11+?
My son is profoundly deaf - am hoping he passes so that he can prove to himself that having a disability does not affect what he can do in life. SEN teacher at QEHS is lovely so fingers crossed

Good luck to your son - hope all goes well for him. My daughter has asperger's and a Statement of SEN and her GS have been brilliant - what they lacked in experience they made up for in their willingness to learn and their enthusiasm to do the best for her. I suspect that most of the schools have little experience with the profoundly deaf so the fact that the SENCO is good is a major consideration!
