Sept 2015 entry
Hi there
Despite going thru all this back in 2010 when DD got a place at CGS can anyone enlighten me as to the timing for applying for the test for Sept 2015 entry ?

For 2015 entry, check the school's website from April 2014 onwards, when the admission arrangements are due to be published.

The system has change radically since 2010 - take a good read on the Bucks section to find out more.
The timescale for the coming year (2014 admission) is likely to be as follows:
May/June: Parents' Guide issued, open days and evenings.
July: Deadline to apply for testing
Mid-September: 11+ tests
Mid-October: Test results issued to parents
31st October: Deadline for the CAF.
I say "likely to be" because we don't yet have full details. Once the system has been road tested there may be further changes for 2015 admission, depending on how it all goes in this first year.

25. When do pupils need to register to take the tests?
Registration for out-of-county and partner school candidates will open on 1 May and will close on 1 July. Pupils at Buckinghamshire primary schools do not need to register.
