Choices
Our headteachers have told us that it's pointless putting two grammars down on the preference form for the following reasons
If you pass you'll only get into one
If you don't pass it is unlikely you will get into either
If you pass and your choice is oversubscribed and you appeal you will be allocated a place at the other grammar anyway.
So to give yourself the best chance of a good school you put your choice of grammar first and then two all ability schools.
What does everyone think of this advice?
