5c in SATS

Hi,

My child has got 5c in maths...what does this mean? We are looking to take bexley 11 plus in Sept.
Are we in course?

Is your child in year 5 ???
5c is a fab result!! Children are expected to reach a level 4b in the Year 6 SATS so anything above is great. I'm guessing that your DC will hopefully obtain secure level 5's by the end if year 6 if they are consistently achieving this and they may even be put forward for level 6 paper.
Good luck with your journey through the 11+!! It was a journey we took and it paid off for my DS who secured a place at a fantastic Grammar School in our bordering county.

Great thanks...my child was really poor but we found a great tutor and has made amazing progress.
Just hope he is able replucate this in sept...
But at least we are making progress

So pleased to read you have found a good tutor and by the looks of the level they are at now they will be fine.
Is your tutor also teaching your DC Verbal and Non Verbal reasoning techniques ready for the sept tests?

No we were advised to practice with bond books and other resources
