Board games for family?
Dear Forum,
can you please share any ideas on really nice and fun board games for 11+ age (not 11+ related!!! ) for a family to share? We've got Monopoly and Labyrinth, and the boy loves chess, but i need something more action/fun/brain-wrecking.
Any ideas please??
thank you!

We all love games here and have some that go back years.
For complete silliness we go back a few years and get out Frustration. It is so silly but we all really enjoy it - not sure what that says about all of us We also like the Pit and Uno card games and cribbage is a firm favourite.
Risk and Blokus are fun but you honestly would have to go a long way to beat Monopoly and Scrabble.

Mouse trap is good fun, and silly.i prefer the version I had as a kid, rather the newer version.

We love a game that I played as a child called Coppit. It is simply a chase game with tactics, but it gets very fast and furious and the whole outcome can change within seconds. It becomes absolutely hilarious at times, and is even great fun for adults to play (after a few drinks, possibly. )
It's quite difficult to get hold of, and I did read on one site that it has been discontinued, but Amazon has a few. I would get in quick if you want one though.

Articulate is brilliant and we get very competetitive, risk a big favourite too, and we too love card games including the brilliant SET. Kids love chess and draughts too and we like cluedo on a rainy day. Played a castle card and board game at a friends recently that was good, and Yatzee always fun......
