75. ( 3 [ 12 ] 6 ) ( 19 [ 54 ] 3 ) ( 6 [ ___ ] 12 )

(3x6)-6 =12: (19x3)-3=54: (6x12)-12=60

76. ( 4 [ 108 ] 28 ) ( 17 [ 153 ] 10 ) ( 11 [ ___ ] 9 )

(4x28)-4=108: (17x10)-17=153: (11x9)-11=88

77. ( 19 [ 64 ] 26 ) ( 17 [ 52 ] 18 ) ( 25 [ ___ ] 5 )

(19+26)+19=64: (17+18)+18=52: (25+15)+25=65

78. ( 9 [ 20 ] 18 ) ( 2 [ 6 ] 4 ) ( 3 [ ___ ] 18 )

(9+18)-(9-2)=20: (2+4)-(2-2)=6: (3+18)-(3-2)=20

I think... :)

Perfect Toadmum except for just one minor point.

Question
77. ( 19 [ 64 ] 26 ) ( 17 [ 52 ] 18 ) ( 25 [ ___ ] 5 )

(19+26)+19=64: (17+18)+18=52: (25+15)+25=65
In the last set you have used the number 15 instead of 5. The answer is therefore 55

Thank you but I cannot see the pattern. I already have the answers. Can you please help with the pattern e.g. number 75 is multiplication then subtraction of different numbers......

75. ( 3 [ 12 ] 6 ) ( 19 [ 54 ] 3 ) ( 6 [ ___ ] 12 )

3 x 6 = 18 minus the number on the right = 12
19 x 3 = 57 minus the number on thr right = 54
6 x 12 = 72 minus the number on the right = 60

76. ( 4 [ 108 ] 28 ) ( 17 [ 153 ] 10 ) ( 11 [ ___ ] 9 )

4 x 28 = 112 minus the number on the left = 108
17 x 10 = 170 minus the number on the left = 153
11 x 9 = 99 minus the number on the left = 88

77. ( 19 [ 64 ] 26 ) ( 17 [ 52 ] 18 ) ( 25 [ ___ ] 5 )

19 + 26 = 45 plus the number on the left = 64
17 + 18 = 35 plus the number on the left = 52
25 + 5 = 30 plus the number on the left = 55

78. ( 9 [ 20 ] 18 ) ( 2 [ 6 ] 4 ) ( 3 [ ___ ] 18 )

9 + 18 = 27 minus the number on the left minus 2 (9 - 2 =7) = 20
2 + 4 = 6 minus the number on the left minus 2 (2 - 2 = 0) = 6
3 + 18 = 21 minus the number on the left minus 2 (3 - 2 = 1) =20

 Actually I think I went the wrong way on the second one, as well:

Pattern is, I think

(Number before+Number after)+Number before as in the first one, so

(17+18)+17=52: (25+5)+25=55

or just (Number before*2)+Number after?

For the first q, the pattern is: ()a*b - b, where a is the number before and b the number after the brackets, and so on.
