Pocket Dictionary

Post by Tagore »

I need to equip dd with a pocket dictionary for English and French. Any suggestions - Oxford or Collins?
Ditto for World Atlas - Philips?
All recommendations welcome.

They all seem similar.
Try the Works for good deals. I got pocket French, German and English dictionaries at very reasonable prices. Oxford ones.
I got a Collins school world atlas. However this is due to be Republished very soon. (I was told this by Collins as I contacted them about a mistake, which they are going to correct and they will send me a new version as thanks). Apart from the mistake it is a reasonable world atlas but I suspect there are better and it's worth have a worth through them.

Often the school will recommend one.
