Does anyone have any opinions on the difficulty of their papers....is the English a comprehension and a short essay? Been so focussed on AGGS!!

DD took this one last year - I would possibly agree re the maths and AGGS, though also I know some who were of the thinking that if was all round quite a challenging exam last year. Think the pass mark was lowered too? Personally I prefer an exam and think a fairer method by including English/comprehension as it can really assess a true/innate ability as possibly (I may be wrong) it can not be taught/tutored for as intensely as NVR/maths etc can.

All the best for your DD - I remember it being quite a busy one last year!
