QMGS Open Morning
Did anyone else receive a letter or email invitation to attend the open morning on Friday, even though their DS probably didn't score enough to secure a place anyway?
DS scored 311 so he was resigned to not getting in. I don't know if him attending the open day may give him false hope.
This would all be a lot easier if he didn't love the school so much!

We had one too but DS scored over the last score in last year anyhow. Maybe they are sending out to all those over 305? Personally if I were in your situation I wouldn't take him. But I would still put it on the lea form as a first choice because you never know! Good luck!

We received an e-mail and my DS score is between 305 and 318.

"School cynic" - maybe it is your DS destiny calling him to this school with an email invite and his strong affection for the school. Visit the school and then strongly consider putting him on LEA form, then let destiny do it's mystery work.
