Although I have been quietly confident during the past few days, today has been a bad day, and have been fretting over the implications of DS not achieving a high enough school for his favoured school.

I am not too worried about the alternative schools, I am just worried about my little man being disappointed.

However as you rightly saying, only 13 sleeps to go...

I am proud of DS as he is a wonderful chap, but that only makes any disappointment harder to manage.

However there is only one way through this and that is to get to results day.

Fatnorville, whatever the outcome you sound like a very caring parent, so he'll be ok. I know what you mean though - its horrid to think of them disappointed after all of the hard work.

In terms of being a good parent. I have read the book, just find it difficult to apply the rules at times...
