Mum's cooking :D. All I had to do was bake cakes. Easy in comparison to what she has to do. Eid Mubarak!

I will remind you of that when you are making stuffing balls, and bread sauce on Christmas morning, whilst everone else is munching the mince pies you made on Christmas eve. :P

We all love your cakes, it's low calorie indulgence reading about them!

Editedt to add: except the spinach ones....bleugh

Enjoy EId folks

Christmas is with the in-laws. Again, I do not have to cook  . B-i-l does it all. We do try to provide the vegetarian/fish option.

Eid Mubarak everyone!

No cooking here either - we are all descending on my poor mother - who insists that we don't bring anything. Kids just stocked up on enough cakes, bakes and sweets to fill a bakery and still managed to get through them this morning  .... Now they are saying they need to try and run it all off before we set off to mum's as they know how my parents keep filling up their plates.

Hopefully, this will be a welcome distraction for those of you who are waiting for results later this week.

I was walking through Maidstone earlier and saw a large number of young Muslim men all coming from one direction. I asked one what the occasion was and one explained about Eid. He was polite and explained it all.

Sorry, not One Direction the pop group, but from the same direction.
