Stroud High School New Head - Mark McShane

Post by stroudydad »

So they have opted to bring someone in from outside, do any parents with girls at HSFG have any comments?

?HSFG parents. Am I missing something? What's his background? With DD opting for SHS next year I am interested.

Thank you FluffyCat, now I am interested in the opinions of HSFG parents.

Prior to HSSG, he worked for some time at Pate's and was 2nd in charge of 6th form.

Mark Mcshane was very helpful to my SHS 6th form daughter whilst he was at HSFG, offering her an Oxbridge type interview and offering her extensive feedback. She liked him and so did I. I personally am glad to see a new head with some energy at SHS, although my DD has now left........x

Not Mad Mark 'Call me Satan' McShane'? He's finished his term now, has he? I thought they would never let him out, not after that dreadful incident at the riding stables. The European Court of Human Rights has a lot to answer for.

Still, I am all for rehabilitating offenders - we can all change, and it is great to see him putting something back into the community.

Oh, not that one?
