You know you have an 11+ problem...
when you have used the phrase "to relocate"...
I see there are over 230+ instances of this phrase... (quite a few in the Surrey Section)...
Really seriously afflicted people use the phrase repeatedly and quote different locations!
e.g. one poster...
Aug 2011 Herts: "We are planning to relocate to Finchley area"
Early Oct Bucks: "What happens if I move next week close to the relevant school by renting a house."
Oct 2013 Surrey: "Planning to relocate to Kinston"
I've used this phrase once myself but I'm undergoing treatment and getting better.

I've heard the phrase 'educational tourists' used to describe system gamers. All's fair as long as the rules are bent and not broken. Just a thought but maybe the dates for residing should be brought forward to prevent any ambiguity?
Oh and you knoewyou have an 11+ problem when your youngest has moved on but you've not.

That's fine, you can just lurk in Everything Else and Rehab with me until it's time to move to the GCSE section!!stevew61 wrote:Oh and you knoewyou have an 11+ problem when your youngest has moved on but you've not.
What I don't understand is the ones that live miles and miles away, enter their dc for the 11+ somewhere at the other end of the country and then start looking at schools when they have the results and about 3 hours to fill in the CAF. They are obviously far more relaxed than me, I think I did more research into the right school for ds's than I did into childbirth!!!!!

I think they are amazing. I wonder if any of them will manage to move house in time. How do you get a job just like that too?

Obviously very accomplished parents and children!

But where does the child go to school from October until July? That always puzzles me, or do they just move a parent initially? Such effort..I hope it turns out to be worth it for them and their children are happy.
