First Lego League anyone?

I'm going to be helping with the regional heats of First Lego League next week, for my second year.

Just wondering if anyone else is involved or has DC who are entering?

Is it the Lego robotics one? I know some kids who are doing it and they have been working on their team preparing for it.

Yes that's the one.
They have to do project and compete in a Lego robot game.

Find a teacher at school who might be interested. Too late to enter this year, but it runs every year.

I think it's a great competition. It covers a wide skill range, they have to research a problem and came up with a solution and a means of communicating that solution, work as a team and design and build a robot for the robot game.

Those that don't have any interest in the robot part can get really stuck in with the project.

I think DS and friends were out first round. They had to go to Duxford a couple of weeks ago. Are we talking about the same thing?
